2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver your session photos to you via SMS text message and/or a secure link;
- Send you service-related messages, such as confirmations related to your photo delivery;
- Respond to support requests (e.g., messages sent to our HELP keyword);
- Maintain records of consent and opt-out status as required by telecommunications regulations;
- Improve and maintain our Service and website;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your phone number or contact information for unsolicited marketing unless you have separately and explicitly opted in to receive marketing messages.
3. SMS Text Messaging Terms
By providing your phone number and opting in on our session-completion screen, you consent to receive a text message from RETROBOOTH containing a link to view and download your session photos.
- Message frequency may vary based on your session activity.
- Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier plan.
- Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out of receiving further messages. You will receive one final confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed.
- Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us directly using the information in Section 8 below.
- Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile information, including your phone number and SMS opt-in consent, will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to any third party or affiliate for promotional or marketing purposes. This includes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information is used solely to deliver the Service you requested and is not shared outside of that purpose, except as described in Section 4 below (e.g., with our SMS delivery platform, which acts strictly as a service provider on our behalf).
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use third-party vendors to operate our Service, including an SMS delivery platform (currently Telnyx) to transmit your photo-delivery text message, and a hosting/storage provider to store and serve your photos. These providers are contractually bound to use your information only to perform services on our behalf and are prohibited from using your data for their own marketing purposes.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our Company, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: If our Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a policy at least as protective.
We never share SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your contact information and session photos for 90 days, after which it is deleted or de-identified, unless a longer retention period is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
Our SMS program is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect phone numbers from, children under the age of 13. If a photo session includes a minor, the phone number used to receive photos must belong to a parent or guardian, who is responsible for providing consent on the minor's behalf. If we become aware that we have collected a child's phone number without appropriate consent, we will delete it.

- Opting out of SMS: Reply STOP to any message, or contact us using the information below.
- Access or deletion: You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@retrobooth.app.
- State-specific rights: Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or similar state privacy laws, including the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
